Experiment of the Week: #365 Lint Very good explanation, well, easy enough for a kid to understand. So I guess there is just no getting rid of lint then if they are coming from clothes that are getting worn out. I suppose there is just no way to stop your clothes from getting worn out. The only thing to do is find out a way to get the lint away from the clothes during washing and drying. I have tried adding white vinegar to the clothes in the wash cycle and it doesn't seem to be doing anything so I'll probably try adding to the rinse cycle like some websites recommend. While googling online the subject of lint, I found this website - 131
uses for Vinegar I will trying out some of the uses and will write about it then. Well, I just took a bowl of vinegar and added some spice in it to see if it does add a pleasant odor to the room - "To add a pleasant scent to a room while at the same time removing an unpleasant odor, add cardamom or other fragrant spice to a bowl of distilled vinegar and place in the warmest corner of the room." - placed it near the fire place. |
